Annual dues are $50 and do not include our monthly chapter meetings. Dues are based on a calendar year with all memberships expiring on December 31st. New members joining in October, November, or December will expire 12/31 the following year. Dues may be paid by cash or check. At this time we do not accept credit or debit cards.
TYPES OF MEMBERSHIPS Professional Professional Members. Professional membership is an individual membership and shall be limited to those individuals who meet one or more of the following criteria: engaged in the profession of human resource management at the exempt level for at least three years; certified by the Human Resource Certification Institute; serve as faculty members holding an assistant, associate or full professor rank in human resource management of any of it specialized functions at an accredited college or university and have at least three years experience at this level of teaching; engaged as full-time consultants with at least three years experience practicing in the field of human resource management; serve as full-time attorneys with at least three years experience in counseling and advising clients on matters relating to the human resource profession.
Professional members may vote and may also hold a position on the Chapter Board of Directors.
General Associate Associate Members. Associate membership is an individual membership for those in non-exempt human resource management positions as well as those individuals who do not meet the qualifications of the other classes of membership, but who demonstrate a bona fide interest in human resource management and the mission of the Chapter. This category includes business owner/operators who are responsible for the HR function within the business. Associate members may not vote nor hold office in the Chapter.
