HR Business Partner

Salary Range: $67,662 - $104,852 (anticipated hiring range $67,662 - $86,257, commensurate with skills and experience)

GUC is searching for a highly motivated HR professional to serve as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to provide assistance in the management of HR objectives by delivering innovative people solutions for assigned business units.  The HRBP will provide consultative support and program delivery to employees and leaders in all areas of human resources, including but not limited to compensation, performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, organizational design, employee engagement, retention, data analysis and records management.  Reporting to the Sr. HR Manager, the HRBP will be responsible for delivering individualized solutions for a diverse set of challenges involving personnel, employee relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment, selection, succession planning, and retention.  The HRBP's ability to interpret and understand business needs and translate those needs into practical solutions while adhering to applicable policy and/or law is essential.  It is also vital that the HRBP can operate at a strategic level with senior leaders, but transition seamlessly into operational mode when working with employees.  The HRBP may also be called upon to serve in the absence of the Sr. HR Manager on occasion.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field

  • 3-5 years relevant HR generalist experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience

  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred

  • Strong understanding and proven application of applicable laws (i.e. FMLA, ADA, FLSA, affirmative action, etc.)

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent work ethic and high degree of integrity

  • Ability to efficiently and effectively multi-task

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Comfortable leading group meetings and/or training sessions

  • Ability to travel to GUC offices/sites within Greenville area

 

Normal work schedule is Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. .
